Get Two Wonderful Products: BabyPlus Prenatal Education System and Wombsong Prenatal Sound System Wombsong Sound System Designed to work with your "OWN" Cassette or CD Player Hear your baby's movements and heartbeat and play your own music to the baby. Bond with your baby before the birth. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Learning starts before Birth! The Baby Plus system Prenatal Education System is based on more than 20 years of scientific research and provides your child with lifelong benefits by beginning the learning process even before your baby is born. Using the Baby Plus System device on a daily basis from Week 18 of pregnancy strengthens the brain development of your prenatal child with patented, scientifically designed audio lessons that are heard in the womb. The curriculum introduces patterns of sound to prenatal children in the only language they understand, the maternal heartbeat. As baby discriminates the simple rhythmic sounds of Baby Plus from those of the mother, learning begins and the child’s brain is activated in a way never before possible. More about this process! In the Prenatal period, the brain is at its most receptive developmental stage. By stimulating brain cells and their connecting elements during this crucial developmental period, independent studies have proven that overall brain structure is stronger at birth and this benefit continues throughout the life of the child. This early advantage means children will be able to absorb and appreciate far more of their environment than if they had not received this prenatal enrichment. BabyPlus children will have an intellectual, developmental, creative and emotional advantage from the time they are born! The Results! Over the last 16 years, Baby Plus parents have reported that babies at birth and infancy: Develop better sleeping patterns More readily nurse Have increased ability to self-soothe Are more interactive and responsive and Are more relaxed and alert at birth And later in life, these children demonstrate: Earlier developmental milestone Improved school readiness and intellectual abilities Greater curiosity and independence and Longer attention spans      ____________________________________________________________________   A manual comes with the BabyPlus.  I did not mark in the book inside so you are able to keep track of your progress.  The outer cover does have a very slight water mark on it.              The babyplus lessons are designed to be played for 1 hour twice a day. For optimal benefits, start using BabyPlus anytime between 18-32 weeks of pregnancy The BabyPlus Prenatal Education System is a strap on machine worn in a soft size-adjustable belly belt that gently introduces the unborn baby top a series of 16 scientifically designed sounds over several weeks, every day, that resemble the sound of a mother's heartbeat, but with increasingly more complex beats and rhythms as the weeks progress. The rhythm of the sounds increase incrementally in complexity as the pregnancy progresses. The BabyPlus sonic pattern introduces your child to a sequential learning process, built upon the natural rhythms of their own environment, that sets their brains up for learning & discovering & recognising patterns - the first basic step in training your unborn babies brain. The result is proven by years of research - BabyPlus babies are found to be more alert straight after birth - looking around the room and making eye contact with mother, more aware of their surroundings, more relaxed & easier to soothe and take to breastfeeding more readily & more calm, peaceful and content than other babies. They are found to not cry as often or as long as other babies and are more 'interactive' sooner. But this is only the start of the BabyPlus benefits - the research as to the other great benefits later in the child's life and at school age are equally astounding and 100% proven through sound scientific research & University studies. This "auditory exercise" program strengthens the baby's learning ability, actually teaching your unborn baby's brain how to 'learn', before he or she is even born. This happens during the developmental period when the advantages will be most significant for a child. BabyPlus is the first educational tool designed for prenatal use that has been actually proven to be effective through university research - this is no fad. BabyPlus children have an intellectual, developmental, creative, and emotional advantage from the time they are born and the product is soundly backed up by the research that proves the claims.Your baby can very clearly hear these sound patterns in the womb . She/he learns to discriminate between the sound coming from the mother and those from BabyPlus. In other words, learning has begun! As the program becomes more sophisticated each week your baby accelerates the rate at which he or she compares and contrasts information. This process builds your baby's brain and  memory for greater capacity and function throughout life. BabyPlus Prenatal Education System. strap on Machine that gently introduces the unborn baby to 16 scientifically designed sounds that resemble a mother's heartbeat to be used over a series of weeks during pregnancy. Auditory exercise that "exercises the brain" & benefits your child later in life. By using BabyPlus during pregnancy,  research shows that BabyPlus children show the following: Reach developmental milestones earlier than their peers. Improved school readiness. Enhanced intellectual abilities compared to their peers. Greater creativity and independence. Longer attention spans. BabyPlus babies at birth and infancy: More readily breastfeed. Have increased ability to self soothe. Are more interactive and responsive. Are better relaxed and alert at birth. The BabyPlus lessons are designed to be played for 1 hour twice a day. For optimal benefits, start using BabyPlus any time between 18-32 weeks of pregnancy. But enough about the product - Here is a selection of Parent Testimonials - if the research and University studies haven't convinced you then all the proof you need of the benefits to your unborn child is right here, straight from the parents who have used this product and experienced the benefits promised by BabyPlus Yes, I have used babyplus with THREE babies (currently using with my third) and have seen amazing results. The descriptions on their site are right on as to what I have experienced - the babies have all been very peaceful, calm and content. To further back this up, my sisters and sister-in-laws have used babyplus for their children -- totaling EIGHT more children and all have had the same results. I HIGHLY recommend this product as a small insurance policy to those who want a happy infant! Even the way the babies were born was exactly the way as described in the reviews section... very calm, with hands open and just observing. So much so, that doctors have comented as to how peaceful the babies were immediately following birth. It really is quite amazing. The nurses actually have to work quite hard to get my babies to cry after birth. Is this babyplus or genetics... I don't know but it is wonderful. I have witnessed this with two other babyblus births as well.If it is too loud, then put a pillow over your tummy to quiet it a bit. You will get used to it, I promise. My husband used to complain but now it seems to lull him right to sleep AND he knows the great benefits of using it so he will ask me at night to go get the babyplus and turn it on. Again, I am telling you this as this pregnancy will be the 11th child in my family to be a babyplus baby - no colic, great sleepers, even better nursers from the start and so calm and content. The eldest babyplus baby is now 10 years old and is showing above average intelligence level... so, it doesn't hurt to try it. I think if you do, you will find too that babyplus is on to something. Mary Cooper, CEO of mommymixer.com So...the BabyPlus monitor....OMG!!!!It’s EVERYTHING the box promises AND MORE!!!!Baby Cooper was EXTREMELY alert at birth! He is a GREAT nurser and excels at self soothing!!! He has LOVED to stare at his mobiles and animals hanging from his car carrier and crib...he loves them soooo much and to be sooo alert and always starring at the ceiling that I put some up there tooo!! Hung them from the track lighting and he will sit and cooo at them for hours since he was about THREE weeks! A real treat of a baby and SLEEPS THRU the night since TWO weeks old! He started smiling at FOUR weeks!!! I think we have a SUPER Baby Einstein here! The BabyPlus monitor ROCKS and SOOO worth the time and effort of using it for those important months! He rarely cries, just when he is fighting to go to sleep because he is soooooo aware and self soothing - he fights it and wants to stay awake!!! Thank you! Caralee & Baby Cooper California The first time I saw my sister strap on her babyplus so nonchalantly I must admit I thought it was rather weird. She said that her best friend used it and we all know her daughter is a dream, very social, adapts to different environments, very independent and extremely smart. When my nephew was born I saw first hand what babyplus is capable of doing and was convinced I had to use it when I got pregnant. A year later I was using it as well. In the early stages the baby would kick a lot when the lesson was in session and I couldn’t figure out if it was annoying (him) or not. As time went by, he would kick the first 5 minutes of the lesson and then I wouldn’t feel him again. As I went further into my pregnancy, I wasn’t always able to put it on at the same time, if I was late my baby would kick like CRAZY. I guess it was his way of letting mommy know it was “School time”. My son was born extremely alert. He took to nursing like he had done it before. He has a very easy going temperament and love to play with people, but can also play alone with his toy. He started putting himself to sleep at two months. And from then on slept through the night and would only wake up to nurse and go right back to sleep. He’s only fussy when he’s hungry, tired or over stimulated. He smiles ALL THE TIME. The most impressive milestone? He rolled over at four weeks. At first I thought it was a fluke but he did it several times and I even caught it on tape. Baby plus is by far one of the biggest advantages I could have ever given my child. Two thumbs up! Danielle W. Second Product: Wombsong Prenatal Monitor Bond Before the Birth with Wombsong Prenatal Monitor!!! Product Rating: Durability:   Pros: Early bonding, easy to travel with, too many to list, read on...Cons: tough to get used to the sounds at first (and sorry I do not have the manual on this one but very easy to figure out - I'll explain)The Bottom Line: A perfect way to bond with your unborn child. Embryonics makes it easy to sing, talk, play music, or just listen without fear of overstimulating baby!! A must have!! Full Review:Wombsong Prenatal Sound System The Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System is a system that allows you to communicate with your unborn child by way of voice and music, and it allows you to hear the child’s heartbeat as well. I have heard many horror stories about how these products are a waste of money, but I assure you, you will love this product if you get it. You just have to be patient and know what you are listening for. I will walk you through all of the features, tell you what I liked the most, and give you the tips that I learned while using the Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System. ========== Appearance ========== The Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System consists of a white plastic piece that is approximately 6 inches long and 3-4 inches wide. It weighs about 1 pound by itself. There is a blue volume control dial on the top, three buttons on the top of the face that turn on the different features, and an ergonomic battery cover on the bottom that is also blue. It takes one 9 volt battery. (Of course, the product name is on the front also in blue lettering.) If the unit is facing you, there are two holes on the right side where you can plug in the headphones or the radio attachment. On the left side there is one hole for the microphone. On both sides of the face of the unit, there is a slot where the belt clips into place. The belt is made of a blue fabric and elastic. It is very comfortable and durable as well. It has a lot of stretching power (no matter how big you get during pregnancy.) :0)~ On the back of the unit is the speaker and listening device. There are also 4 screws that apparently keep the front and back pieces together. (I did not open mine up so I cannot say for sure – but I don’t think I’m wrong.) These screws are set into the plastic and they do not cause any discomfort. Cords are not available with this item but you are able to use your own: ~ Use a cord in the hole marked with a musical note when you want to play music to your child. ~ Use a microphone cord in the microphone hole for when you want to speak to your child.~ Use headphones when you want to listen to the baby’s heartbeat.  This comes in a handy carry case that is about one foot long, 4-5 inches wide, and 2 inches tall. The carry case is made of breathable fabric and has a handle on the end. I really enjoyed the fact that everything fit inside the case and was easily transported because I was able to share the baby’s heartbeat with family members who would otherwise not have been able to hear it. =================== Listening to the heartbeat =================== Using the headphones, you are able to listen to the heartbeat of your unborn baby. You should really wait until you are at least 5 months along to do this because the walls of the uterus are very thick, and sometimes it is hard to hear the heartbeat. By the time the baby is 5 months along, it is big enough for you locate the heartbeat on most occasions. First you wrap the belt around your belly and attach it to the unit. Be sure that you are comfortable, but make it tight enough against the belly to hear the sounds. You may have to play with this for a little bit before you get it to fit you correctly and comfortably. Just take your time, because what you hear is so worth all of the trouble!! So, get comfortable, plug in the headphones into the correct slot, and push the Heart button on the top of the unit. You may have to adjust the position of the unit several times before you really hear anything substantial. The baby moves a lot during pregnancy and sometimes it is hard to find the heartbeat. DO NOT let this scare you. Take your time. It may take using this a few times before you hear what you are supposed to. It does not sound like the heartbeat you hear at the doctor’s office!! It is completely different than that “whoosh-whoosh-whoosh” sound. When you use the Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System, the baby’s heartbeat sounds strangely like Morse code. You may laugh, but I am being honest. The first few times I used this, I had no idea what I was listening for and I was very frustrated by the whole experience. It wasn’t until I noticed that the “tick-tick-tick” sound had a rhythm that I paid attention to it and realized what it was. At first there is a lot of static. You can fix this by shifting the unit around and listening carefully to everything that you are hearing. The womb is a very noisy place!! It is reported that the sound is ranging from 25-95 decibels in there. That is very loud!! It is because there is a lot of stuff going on like nutrients going to the placenta, blood pumping, and your digestive system working. A lot of the static is all of that stuff moving around and blocking the sound of your baby. Be patient with it. As long as you know that it sounds like Morse code, you will know what it is when you hear it. The baby’s heartbeat is much faster in the womb than you think also. That makes the sound you hear even more confusing because you think that there is no way the heartbeat is moving that fast, and you write off the sound as something else that is wrong with the unit. Once you figure out what you are hearing, it is the coolest feeling ever. You remember the day you first heard your little one’s heartbeat at the doctor’s office, and now, you can listen whenever you want!! I cried almost hysterically when I got the sound figured out. I had been so fed up with the thing that I was ready to just put it away. I am so glad that I kept trying!! My husband and I would pass the headphones back and forth to one another listening to her heart just pound away. And getting to share it with people in the family who couldn’t make it to our appointments was great, too!! They loved it. Everyone felt a little closer to her before she was born. Sometimes, you can even hear hiccups, and kicks, and other movements that the baby is making. ========== Recording ========== Not only can you listen to the heartbeat, but if you plug the radio attachment into the unit and then a radio, you can record the sounds that you are hearing to save forever or to send to family that may be interested. =========== Playing Music =========== Using the same attachment you use to record, you can plug into a radio and play music for the baby. There are several studies that show that playing soft classical music to babies while they are in the womb stimulates their brains. Music helps the brain “exercise new brain cells and assists the wiring process for connections that may last a lifetime.” There are several guidelines to use when deciding the appropriate music to play for babies in the womb. ~ The music should have no sudden or loud sounds. ~ The selections should be short. ~ There should be simple melodies that are repeated often. ~ The selections you choose should range from simply to slightly more complex. ~ There should be a large variety of sounds, with varying tempos. ================= Talking to your Baby ================= Using the microphone, you can actually speak directly to your little one. We all know they an hear us while in the womb because they are born recognizing mom’s voice. But with the microphone, you can help them hear your words more clearly instead of just hearing a blurred sound that is your voice. ===================== Avoiding Over-Stimulation ===================== I know that a big concern of mine was whether or not all of this “brain stimulation” would be too much for my unborn child. The Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System has features designed to protect your baby from this. Doctors who have studied prenatal stimulation suggest that the baby should only be stimulated for 10 minutes at a time and no more than twice daily. Following this rule will ensure that your baby gets the brain exercise without being too overwhelmed. In order to make sure that this happens, the Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System has an automatic shut off feature that will only let sound come out of the speaker for 10 minutes at a time. This was very helpful to me, because our favorite thing to do was to listen to music before bed. I often fell asleep with it plugged into the radio. I felt safe relaxing to the music knowing that the monitor would shut itself off in 10 minutes. I still had to be sure to only plug in to talk to her or play music twice a day, but I could listen to her as much as I wanted. This feature also came in handy when I would get on a roll talking to her and I would forget how long I had been jabbering away. (Call me a goof if you like – I am.) It would just shut off when I had been talking to long. There was no way to over-stimulate her. ============= Volume Control ============= One of my other concerns was whether I was talking or playing music too loudly. The Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System will not allow this. It monitors the volume control for you and it will not let sound out loud enough to do damage to your baby’s forming ears. A few times I wondered if I was being too loud, but the manual assured me that it cannot be too loud. The speaker simply will not get too loud. That was very comforting. I loved this prenatal sound system because I felt closer to my baby every single day. I got to hear her heart beat whenever I wanted to without waiting for the doctor visits, and I could share it with other family members who could not go to the doctor visits with us. It helped my husband and I build a stronger bond with our daughter before we saw her sweet little face. Too much stimulation can be a bad thing, but if it is done in moderation, it can be wonderful. I highly recommend the Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System. It was a wonderful part of my pregnancy and it can be for yours, too. Just remember to be patient. Try not to get frustrated if you cannot get the sound in clearly right away. It will happen. Just keep moving the monitor around and listen carefully. After the first time you hear it, you won’t mistake it again. When you have your baby and you see them respond to a song that you sang during your pregnancy, you will be amazed. I think you will agree that this is a wonderful product that is worth every penny. Enjoy your pregnancy, it will be over before you know it. Take the time to relax and bond with your baby before it is born. It is really rewarding. I hope you enjoy the Embryonics Wombsong Prenatal Sound System. I loved mine!!
