I have combined these Amy Butler fabrics to make one beautiful, classy bag!! The messenger flap has a magnetic closure to keep it in place. This roomy bag measures 16 1/2'' wide (measured from the top of the bag, seam to seam) x 11 1/2'' tall x 6'' depth.  The strap has a 13'' drop from shoulder to bag. Measurements are approximate. I have double stitched around the top of the bag, and have triple stitched where the straps are.  This bag is very durable. The interior of this bag is made with coordinating fabrics (fabrics may vary).  There are pockets of various sizes all the way around, eight in all, with one being just the right size for a cell phone!! All of my sturdy bags are constructed with two layers of thick fleece interfacing.  The  bags are so sturdy, in fact, that they will stand-up on their own!!
