Nice and airy for summer, but it still provides enough warmth to be snuggly.  Placed over anysized bed, it adds a touch of charm and elegance from yesteryear.  Size is one that will cover the top of a twin bed, not including the pillow area.  It will drape about 6 inches down each side.  Custom dimensions are welcomed.
