It functions perfectly and looks great as well. Now my daughter loves this chair as well, but we decided it can be of great service and pleasure to someone else. We are redecorating and few of the furniture pieces must go.... THIS CAN BE A GREAT EARLY CHRISTMAS GIFT TO EXPECTED MOM. I provided 13 pictures for your viewing pleasure. There are some sun fading on the fabric (fabric has very light green color), but wood is in great shape and chair glides very smoothly (Dutailier's chairs are well known for their quality workmanship and premiere materials). Ottoman has the sliding in/out feet support, just in case you need to bend your knees and support your feet on steady surface.  The chair has on two sides two pockets for all yours and baby items that you will need while rockin in the chair. All the fabric can be removed from the chair wooden frame, so can be easly cleaned or hand wash.
