Part of their Country Colors collection, this set in "Wheat" is made from solid maple. We are the original owners, we purchased it new from our local Ethan Allen store, and still have all the original paperwork. The twin Arched Panel Bed measures 80.5" long x 42.25" wide and features sturdy construction throughout. The headboard (48.5" tall) and footboard (30.5" tall) have a wainscot look with panelled vertical scoring. The back of each is a smooth panel. 2.25" wooden globes decorate each tapered post, and antiqued pewter finish bolt covers adorn the footboard. The slats that support the box springs are solid wood and attach to the side rails with pins. The side rails sit 7.25" above the floor. Retailed for $849. The box springs and mattress are from the Cambridge II line of the North American Bedding Company. The box springs measure 74" long x 34.5" wide x 7.25" high, while the mattress measures 74" long x 34.5" wide x 7" high. Both items are in excellent used condition with no stains or smells. Retailed for $308. The Upper Unit and Three Drawer Base Unit measure a combined 78" tall, and are attached together at the dresser top using metal mending plates. The bookcase measures 40" wide x 48" tall x 12" deep and includes one fixed shelf and two adjustable shelves. The back is scored for a panelled look, and the top is arched and crowned with moulding. The adjustable shelves screw into their supports so they are normally very rigid in the bookcase. The dresser measures 40" wide x 30" tall x 18" deep and includes three full-width drawers. The drawers are made from solid wood and feature dovetail joints and wooden knobs. The dresser top is the only place in the entire set where you will notice a slight amount of wear to the finish. Retailed for $1328. The cork Bulletin Board measures 48" wide x 40" tall x 1" thick and hangs like a picture on the wall. It has very solid construction and will serve as the focal point of the set once personalized. Retailed for $199. This set is made from solid maple wood and displays the excellent craftsmanship you expect from Ethan Allen. Overall retail value when purchased new is $2684. A wonderful bedroom set!
