John Deere rag quilt pillow blue tractors minky Start Price USD 22.50 Current Price USD 23.50 Time Left - Bid Count 1 Buy It Now Price USD 23.50 Reserve Price - Start Time Tuesday, October 07, 2008 End Time Thursday, October 16, 2008 Location Finger Lakes Region, NY See more about 'John Deere rag quilt pillow blue tractors minky' Description PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Welcome to my auction for this darling John Deere Pillow with Embroidery.  I've made this pillow the same way that I make my rag quilts - in 3 layers.  The top layer is made with cotton prints from the John Deere line and I've added some denim and some super soft blue minky minkee squares.  For fun, I've machine embroidered tractors onto the two denim squares - one on each side of the pillow.  The embroidery designs are stitched right into the fabric - they are not just "sewn on"!  The middle layer is 100% Warm and natural batting.  The squares are backed with a blue and white flannel which shows through where the seams and edges are "ragged".  The squares are quilted with an "X", the seams clipped, and the pillow was washed once to begin the ragging effect.  The pillow measures approximately 16" x 16".
