We purchased this pump for two reasons ...First: This is the BEST breast pump that you can buy anywhere , Hospitals all over the world choose the Medela Classic as their breast pump of choice because it is the only pump that actually mimics the actions of a baby. Second: Because The medela Classic is the ONLY breast Pump that is rated and approved by the FDA as "safe for use by Multiple users" (one of the same reason hospitals use it as rentals) it holds it's resale value. Basicly it comes down to this.. This pump is in VERY high demand... you can buy the Classic and have the use of the absolute BEST pump available, ensuring that your baby is getting the volume that he/she requires without putting Mom in a position where she may need to pump (uncomfortably might I add) several more times in a day then what is required with other breast pumps. when you are finished with the pump there will always be someone thats looking for a used Medela Classic .. you are looking for one right now... I looked for one but couldn t find a used one so I was forced to buy new.. Lets face it these things are NOT cheap..and a LOT of people want them we are selling the pump because my tubes are tied and we will not be having anymore children.
