The car seat is top of the line in safety, was purchased new and we've only used it for a few months. We have kept it impeccably clean (as you can see in the pictures) and it comes from a clean, smoke-free home. You can see its excellent condition in the pictures I included. I also want to mention that the seat and bases have never been in a car that was in any kind of accident whatsoever, and it is this year's model.
